Daily Minimal

This project has been a fun way for me to continue to develop my logo-making skills. One of the key limitations that I placed upon this project was that it had to be a black & white logo image that illustrated the concept of the day. I then created a mockup of the logo in Photoshop that embossed the image onto three different "cards": black on white, gold foil on White, gold foil on black. The gold foil on black proved to be the best test of the logo, as it revealed whether the logo was able to function in what was essentially inverted contrast (this often proved to be my favorite look).  Overall, this project helps to remind me of how deceptively challenging it is to design a minimalist logo... but therein lies the fun!
