The Enneagram is a powerful and time-tested map for personal development, interpersonal communication, spiritual growth, and identity development.

As someone who deeply values human flourishing and individual perspectives, I use the Enneagram as a foundational tool for coaching and spiritual direction. Whether we are working towards a personal goal, developing effective communication within a team or relationship, or developing a spiritual practice, the Enneagram provides valuable language and insight for the process.

Group Coaching/Teaching Using the Enneagram

In addition to one-on-one coaching I also meet with groups of any size on a variety of topics. Each of these group coaching sessions would be tailored to work with your particular group, but typically involve a multimedia presentation/introduction to the topic, some sort of printed/downloadable material for organization/notetaking, and all involve at least some time for questions and discussion related to the topic.

Intro to the Enneagram

An introduction to what the Enneagram is, where it comes from, and the various ways that it can be used. Explains how we can use the Enneagram as a structure that helps us understand ourselves and others and gives us “empathy tools” that allow us to be more compassionate as we work to improve ourselves and our relationships.

90 minutes. Introductory. Single Session.

Enneagram as Empathy Tools

Focuses on the Enneagrams ability to bring awareness to the otherwise unconscious dominant values in ourselves and in others. This allows us to understand and relate to others without excusing poor behavior on either part and gives us some of the tools and language to “meet in the middle”.

45-90 minutes. Introductory - Experienced. Single/Recurring.

Instincts & Subtypes in Action

Illuminates the three core instinctual needs for self-preservation, intimacy, and social belonging. The way that these core instincts “stack” determines the mode in which our Enneagram archetypes are expressed and govern much of the way we appear to others, how we recover our energy, and how we need to “train others to treat us”.

45-90 minutes. Introductory - Experienced. Single/Recurring.

Communication Across Type

Addresses a particular arena of interpersonal communication through the lenses of the Enneagram. Example topics include: Healthy Confrontation, Conflict Resolution, Values Sharing, Organizational Interaction, Context & Subtext, Group Dynamics, Communicating Expectations, etc. Depending on group size, these sessions become really good when we get to practice with one another.

60-120 minutes. Intermediate - Experienced. Single/Recurring.

Effective Group Interaction

Focuses on the ways that different Enneagram types prefer to interact in group settings and how we can leverage our differences to compliment one another and ensure the group is greater than the sum of it's parts. Example topics include: Information Gathering, Brainstorming, Harmonic Groups and Social Stances, Creating Healthy Feedback, Serving One Another, Leading One Another, etc.

60-120 minutes. Intermediate - Experienced. Single/Recurring.

Enneagram & Self-Care

Using our understanding of type to create habits and practices of self-care that ensure we keep ourselves balanced and healthy for ourselves and others. We will look at why certain care strategies may or may not be effective for us based on our own type structure. Example topics include: Time Management, Work/Life Balance, Relationships, Routines & Rituals, Whole-Person Hygiene, “Me/You/We”, etc.

60-120 minutes. Intermediate - Experienced. Single/Recurring.

Conversation Groups

Beginning with a brief topic introduction, discussion groups then provide an arena for people to share, ask questions, and get more personal while discussion is lead by the Enneagram Practicioners. This provides a safe and ordered environment for people to open up about their personal growth in relation to the Enneagram as well as an opportunity for us to listen and to be listened to.

45-120 minutes. Intermediate - Experienced. Recurring.
